Dear Mr Davis

I just wanted to write and thank you for providing such a good ambulance service. Last Sunday we were at a Pony Club one day event at Soutfield House near Frome when my mother cut her ankle quite badly. We took her to the Ambulance on duty where two very nice men bandaged her up and I was then able to take her on to the RUH in Bath.

My mother was especially grateful as she felt guilty asking their help when she was a spectator rather than a competitor! However the Paramedics were very kind and reassuring and I am sure such prompt treatment made her a lot more comfortable. She later had 9 stitches in her ankle but is mending well.

On behalf of us all thank you very much for all your support.

Anthony Collins Solicitors Staff Away Day -16th July 2005

I am writing to thank you for the event cover that you provided for our firm for our Staff Away Day at the Sedgemere Sports Centre last Saturday. I am delighted to tell you that the ‘It’s A Knockout’ events that our firm organised were thoroughly enjoyed by all those who took part and that the day has been the main topic of conversation in the office this week!

Obviously competitive games run on inflatable courses pose a significant health and safety risk and it was a great reassurance to us to know that your team was clearly marked and close at hand throughout the entire day. I am relieved that the day passed without any significant injuries but remain grateful to you for arranging for 2 Emergency Medical Technicians and Doctor to be present, as well as two rapid response vehicles.

I felt that both yourself and your team were professional and friendly and this contributed to the overall success of the day. I would be grateful if you could extend my thanks to all of your team.

Dear sirs,

On the afternoon Friday 23rd March, I was involved in a car accident on the M6. An articulated lorry hit my Peugeot 206 from the rear, and then pretty much pasted it by hitting it again up the side after I had spun 180 degrees in the road.

By lucky chance one of your ambulances happened to be nearby, containing a paramedic and, bizarrely, two Italian surgeons. To my shame, I cannot remember any of their names, but will claim shock as an excuse.

The paramedic came to my assistance, and got me into a collar and oxygen mask, wrapped me in blankets and looked after me until the NHS ambulance arrived to take me to hospital. The doctors checked me over too, and generally everyone kept me talking and calmed me down. The paramedic then helped the ambulance crew get me out of the car and into the ambulance, who then took me onto Leicester Royal Infirmary. Fortunately, I walked out of the hospital the next morning with whiplash and bruising - damn lucky in the circumstances.

I wanted to thank the guys who looked after me. Their kindness in looking after me was amazing, and the care they provided was beyond measure to a very shell-shocked person. I've been fortunate enough to never get involved in a serious wreck before, (hopefully never again) but I am well aware of how lucky I was to have them there.

Please pass on my thanks and accept my compliments on your team. They rock!
